Long Bio
TRASH formed in Taipei in December 2009 and grew from Taiwan’s independent rock scene into one of the country’s most visible contemporary rock bands. The early years were built through live stages, a self-titled first album in 2012, and recognition at Gongliao Ocean Music Festival, establishing the band as a guitar-driven act with a long-stage horizon.
Across 歸零 / Reset, 11:11, Never Die, Holy Trip!, and 幸福的末班車 / The Last Train of Happiness, the band’s archive widened from raw independent momentum into a larger body of songs shaped by distortion, melody, emotional directness, and live release. The Warner Music Taiwan phase gave that sound a broader platform while keeping the band identity centered on performance and collective force.
The 15th-anniversary chapter brought TRASH into arena-scale territory, including Taipei Arena and Kaohsiung Arena milestones in 2024 and 2025. In 2025, the band won Best Band at the Golden Melody Awards, marking a major recognition point in a story that began in Taipei and kept expanding through records, stages, and a deeply committed live audience.
